Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort opens in the Dominican Republic

Miches.- Grupo Facera celebrated the inaugural opening of the Zemi Miches All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, marking the first all-inclusive property under the Curio Collection brand in the Dominican Republic. The ceremony was attended by President Luis Abinader, government officials, investors, business partners, and collaborators.

Hilton leadership highlighted the resort as a strategic milestone for the brand in Miches, a rising destination, combining Hilton’s renowned service with the unique sophistication of the Curio Collection. Jorge Giannattasio, Hilton’s Senior VP for the Caribbean and Latin America, emphasized that the project raises the regional standard of hospitality.

For the Ranieri family, founders of Zemi Hotels & Resorts, the resort continues a 128-year legacy of investment in Dominican tourism, emphasizing sustainable growth, community development, and creating opportunities for local residents. The resort has generated approximately 1,100 direct and over 4,000 indirect jobs.

President Abinader praised the trust of international investors and Hilton, while Tourism Minister David Collado celebrated Miches as an emerging destination and highlighted Zemi Miches’ unique concept inspired by Dominican identity and Taíno heritage.

Opened to the public in June 2025, Zemi Miches blends contemporary design with Taíno inspiration, using natural materials and local crafts. Developed with an investment of USD $225 million and financing from Banreservas, the resort promises authentic, luxurious experiences and positions Miches as a standout destination for travelers seeking excellence and cultural immersion.
