Banco Popular hosts 24th Altagracian Concert at Higüey Basilica

Higüey.- The Bishopric of Higüey and Banco Popular Dominicano hosted the 24th Altagracian Concert at the Basilica of Our Lady of Altagracia, celebrating the Virgin of Altagracia, the spiritual patroness of the Dominican people.

The National Symphony Orchestra, led by maestro José Antonio Molina, performed a repertoire blending European classical music with Latin American compositions. The concert featured renowned musicians, including soprano Nathalie Peña-Comas, pianist Leo Pimentel, trumpeter Yturvides Vílchez, and saxophonist Sandy Gabriel, offering a dynamic interplay of lyrical and instrumental solos.

Before the concert, Banco Popular hosted a reception for clients and associates, with remarks by Monsignor Jesús Castro Marte, Bishop of Higüey, and Christopher Paniagua, CEO of Banco Popular. Bishop Castro Marte praised the bank’s cultural contributions, while Paniagua emphasized the institution’s commitment to fostering shared value through cultural and spiritual initiatives, expressing gratitude for the trust and loyalty of their clients over the years.
