Presidents of the Dominican Republic and Kenya hold bilateral meeting
New York.- The presidents of the Dominican Republic and Kenya held a bilateral meeting during the UN General Assembly, focusing on security issues in Haiti. They discussed the role of Kenyan police officers deployed in the country and exchanged vital information regarding security concerns.
President Abinader noted that the discussions were significant, with the Kenyan president providing insights about his police force’s operations in Haiti, while he shared details about security measures on the Dominican side.
Additionally, President Abinader is scheduled to participate in the Summit of Leaders of the Global Coalition to Combat Synthetic Drugs this afternoon, at the invitation of U.S. President Joe Biden. The summit, which will also feature Secretary of State Antony Blinken, is set to take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Intercontinental NY Barclay Hotel in Manhattan.
