UN Security Council to review Haiti crisis

Haiti.- The United Nations Security Council will hold a closed-door meeting this Wednesday to evaluate the escalating humanitarian and security crisis in Haiti, where armed gangs continue to expand their control and government institutions face collapse.
Requested by several non-permanent members, the session will focus on assessing the progress and challenges of the Kenyan-led Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS). The mission, which includes forces from Latin America and the Caribbean, has struggled with logistical, resource, and operational limitations, resulting in limited impact.
As the violence worsens, leading to widespread displacement, hunger, and insecurity, the Council is expected to issue new recommendations aimed at strengthening the international response and providing greater support to the Haitian people.
how about we seal that border first!
