National Police and Public Prosecutor’s Office bust dangerous Haitian gang in Santiago

Santiago, DR.- The National Police and the Public Prosecutor’s Office have successfully dismantled a dangerous gang of Haitian nationals involved in robbing truck drivers on the Joaquín Balaguer highway. The gang was known for stealing merchandise destined for Haiti.

Fifteen undocumented Haitian individuals were arrested during the operation, including Glenis Gómez Santana, a Dominican-Haitian woman married to the gang’s alleged leader, Pierre Peguy, also known as Joni. Peguy is associated with the notorious Haitian gang “The 400 Mawozo” and its faction, Fredo Rotima (aka El Flaco).

The crackdown followed a complaint from a truck driver who reported being intercepted by seven armed individuals posing as police officers, who stole his truck and its cargo. Through detailed intelligence and investigation, the stolen truck was recovered in Los Alcarrizos, where it had been abandoned by the gang members. The stolen goods had been transferred to a rented jeep owned by Peguy.

During raids in the Camboya sector and Villa Altagracia, authorities seized various stolen items including three solar panels, numerous shoes, limestone, a tablet, and various food products such as rice, oil, eggs, and spaghetti. These items, along with the detained suspects, are now in the custody of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.

The National Police continue their search for Pierre Peguy (aka Joni) and urge him to surrender through any means he chooses.

No real border, just corrupt frontier guards to bribe. No path to citizenship or right to work. Straight to crime. Let me guess , you’re surprised and outraged. At your own government…..right?

Why aren’t those criminals in handcuffs. They are just standing there as if they were part of the police force instead being handcuff.

This corrupt governments are not going to do anything about the Haitian problem. By the time Abinader leaves he will have 100 millions of dollar living in the USA or in Europe.

The picture represents a bunch of young kids, not hand-cuffed and bloated national police officers. Please, this is so embarrassing.
