National Botanical Garden launches eighteenth National Festival of Plants and Flowers

Santo Domingo.- The Rafael M. Moscoso National Botanical Garden has launched its eighteenth National Festival of Plants and Flowers, a key event aimed at promoting the care of native and endemic plants through various courses and workshops. This year’s festival will run from October 17 to 20, welcoming visitors daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Entrance fees are set at RD$150 for adults and RD$75 for children.

During the inauguration, Director Pedro Suárez expressed his joy at celebrating eighteen years of fostering “the love for plants and nature” through this festival. He described it as a celebration for all Dominican families visiting the garden, emphasizing that this year’s edition features the largest number of participants to date.
