BiggerAuthorities arrest five motorcyclists for reckless riding on 27 de Febrero Avenue
Santo Domingo.- Five men have been arrested for participating in a reckless motorcycle circuit through the tunnels and overpass of 27 de Febrero Avenue on National Independence Day. The Central Intelligence Directorate (Dintel), in coordination with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, tracked down and seized five motorcycles linked to the viral incident.
The arrested individuals—Robelyn Santos, Cairo Manuel de Aza Santana, Bryan Alexis José Paulino, Adolfo Rossis Antigua (alias Chucky and/or Morino), and José Luis Cuello—were identified through intelligence work. Notably, ‘Chucky and/or Morino’ has a prior criminal record for engine theft in 2022.
Authorities conducted operations in Santo Domingo Norte, the National District, and San Pedro de Macorís to locate the suspects. The detainees and seized motorcycles have been transferred to the General Directorate of Traffic Safety and Land Transportation (Digesett) for legal proceedings.

Should then arrest every single small cycle operator in the country. These little bikes are terribly dangerous and have zero regard for public safety, rules of the road, or traffic codes. Most that I see are not licensed/plated and overloaded (family of 4 or 5 on a scooter). I am amazed that there are not hundreds of dead children along the roadways every day.
