President Abinader delivers 72 new apartments in Boca Chica
Boca Chica.- President Luis Abinader continues his efforts to reduce the national housing deficit and improve the quality of life for Dominican families with the delivery of 72 new apartments in the Boca Residence project, under the Happy Family National Housing Plan. Located in the municipality of Boca Chica. Notably, over 30% of the recipients belong to the Dominican diaspora, underscoring the administration’s commitment to including overseas Dominicans in national development efforts.
Eduardo Melo Paniagua, president of COMEPSA Construction Company, announced the start of the second phase of the Boca Residence project, which will add 208 new apartments to the 216 already completed in the first phase. Over 70% of the units in the new phase have already been sold. The full Boca Residence development will eventually include 1,096 apartments, with a total investment of RD$182 million, financed through a public-private partnership combining RD$61 million in government subsidies and RD$121 million from the private sector.
