Authorities seek to speed up payments to contractors of the State

Santo Domingo.– Representatives of the Public Works Ministry (MOPC) and the DominicanEngineers, Architects and Surveyors Guild (CODIA) agreed to establish a one-stop window to expedite payments to contractors of the State and the private sector.

The commitment was made during a meeting headed by Cabinet of Public Works director Ramon Pepin. The participants agreed on the need to establish a one-stop window as a way to advance the process of engineering projects and called for better wage conditions for the Public Works employees.
