Dominican entrepreneurs to showcase talent at One Day Business Expo in California

Santo Domingo.- Dominican entrepreneurs and professionals in California will come together on August 31 for the second edition of the One Day Business Expo, aimed at boosting the visibility and growth of Dominican-owned businesses on the U.S. West Coast.

The event, hosted at the Glendale Express Hotel, celebrates the third anniversary of the Dominican Chamber of Commerce Abroad (CCDEX), a nonprofit founded in Los Angeles by five community leaders committed to strengthening the Dominican business ecosystem.

CCDEX president Clara Tavárez highlighted that the expo will feature businesses in gastronomy, fashion, tech, healthcare, and financial services, alongside panels and networking sessions to foster strategic partnerships. A special highlight will be California’s first chacabana fashion show, led by Dominican designers Hipólito Pollantis, Jack Ramos, and Yohanna Gursey.
