Punta Cana Airport achieves ACI Level 3 accreditation

Punta Cana.- Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) has received Level 3 Customer Experience Accreditation from Airports Council International (ACI), highlighting its commitment to enhancing passenger services. The certification, valid from August 7, 2025, to August 6, 2026, recognizes the airport’s strategies and practices aimed at ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction. ACI praised PUJ for its dedication to continuously improving the travel experience.

In addition, the airport secured a 4-star rating from Skytrax following a three-day audit of its infrastructure, services, and passenger experience. This evaluation validated PUJ’s progress in areas such as terminal renovations, expanded check-in space, improved seating and family-friendly facilities, upgraded shopping and dining options, and more efficient passenger processing systems.

PUJ officials stated that these achievements strengthen the airport’s position as a regional leader in customer service.
