U.S. forces destroy drug boat, killing four suspects
Washington, D.C.- The United States reported the death of four alleged narcoterrorists during a military operation in Caribbean waters near Venezuela. The men were aboard a vessel transporting drugs when it was intercepted and destroyed by U.S. forces.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced the action through his Instagram account, noting that the operation was carried out under orders from President Donald Trump. He stressed that the attack was “lethal and decisive,” resulting in no American casualties.
Hegseth added that intelligence confirmed the boat was carrying a large shipment of narcotics bound for the U.S. He warned that similar operations will continue against drug trafficking routes until threats to the American people are eliminated.
