Collado brings Dominican tourism roadshow to New York
New York.- From New York, Tourism Minister David Collado met with U.S. travel agencies and tour operators who have long supported Dominican tourism. Collado emphasized that the United States remains the country’s most important source market, contributing 1.6 million visitors annually.
He noted that each meeting with industry partners helps drive job creation, investment, economic growth, and greater confidence in the Dominican Republic’s tourism sector. Collado highlighted that these efforts strengthen and promote national destinations, reaffirming the government’s commitment to expanding tourism opportunities.
“We continue to leave our mark and work for our people,” the minister stated on his social media platforms.

Speaking of “roadshows”, when are you and your government going to finally do something about the reckless nature of transfer drivers in Punta Cana? When are you going to properly paint and mark the roads with product that actually works for more than a month? When are you going to modernize?
Roadshows are great, but you are selling a dream…not a reality.
