Dominican music icon Juan Luis Guerra wins 2 Latin Grammies

Las Vegas.- Dominicanmerengue icon and songwriter Juan Luis Guerra on Thursday won two Grammy at theLatin Grammies gala in Las Vegas, Nevada, eldia.com.do reports.

The first award was forBest Contemporary Tropical Album "Todo tieme su tiempo” (Everything has itstime) and the second for Best Tropical Song for "Tus besos” (Your kisses).

Upon receiving his secondaward, Juan Luis Guerra thanked his homeland Dominican Republic, for "thiswonderful rhythm we have," and God, "who gives me all the inspirationto create my music."
