“JetBlue’s latest Caribbean option will connect Newark Liberty to Santo Domingo, the capital city of the Dominican Republic. Flights will begin May 3, pending regulatory approval. JetBlue would fly one daily round-trip flight on the route using 150-seat Airbus A320 aircraft,” the outlet said..

It adds that JetBlue already offers service from both cities, “but the new route connects two existing JetBlue destinations that were not previously served non-stop.”
