Prize pays tribute to Dominican great Oscar de la Renta

Paris.- Dominican Republic’s Delegation to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco), on Tues. presented at the entity’s headquarters the “International Award to the Dominican Emigrant Mr. Oscar de la Renta.”

The presentation of the recognition that pays tribute to the maestro of haute couture was headed by adjunct ambassador to the Foreign Ministry, Angelita García.

She traveled to Paris for the event on behalf of Foreign minister, Miguel Vargas, invited by the Dominican representative before Unesco, José Antonio Rodríguez.
