Used auto importers upbeat, announce first-ever fair

Santo Domingo.- Used Vehicles Importers Association (Asocivu) president Luis Manuel Peña affirmed Tuesday that the sector is currently in one of its most balanced points in terms of auto imports, in addition to a “very good relationship” with the Customs Agency.

When asked about Mobility, Land Transport, Traffic and Road Safety Law 63-17 which includes the renewal of public passenger vehicles, Peña said his association has to be included in the project, since, in his view, the renovation isn’t only the change of vehicles, but a contribution to protect the environment and halt pollution.

Auto Fair

Peña affirmed announced the first ever “Santo Domingo Este Auto Fair” at Multicentro La Sirena on Majluta Av., March 30 to April 3, when more than 50 dealers exhibiting more than 1,000 vehicles of various makes and models and price ranges.
