IDB: Dominican economy still among the region’s highest growth

Santo Domingo.- Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) president Luis Alberto Moreno, said Thurs. that the Dominican economy is still among those with the highest growth in the region.

He stressed that this growth is in low inflation, “which has undoubtedly been thanks to the tourism sector and public policies aimed at investments to access energy and reduce logistics transportation costs.”

Moreno spoke to inaugurate FOROMIC, an event on innovation for the inclusion of Latin America and the Caribbean, which takes place in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, with the slogan “Reinventing inclusion.”
