Biggest bank gets magazine’s kudos a 7th straight year

Santo Domingo.- The Banco Popular Dominicano recently received the recognition by the financial magazine LatinFinance as Bank of the Year 2019 in the Dominican Republic, the 7^th  time that the bank group receives this award from the international publication.

In its analysis of the banking markets of Latin America and the Caribbean, the specialized magazine highlights Popular’s leading role in the Dominican financial system and recognizes its “outstanding performance and the excellence of its services and financial products in the different customer segments that It serves, from retail and commercial banking to business and investment banking.”

LatinFinance CEO, Taimur Ahmad, presented the award to Edward Baldera, and María Angélica Haza, in Miami, Florida.
