Widely scattered showers, high Atlantic coast surf continue

Santo Domingo.- Dominican Republic’s weather will continue with a low chance of rain but cloudiness from the prevailing East wind could bring widely scattered showers to the northeast, southeast and Central Mountains Monday afternoon.

The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) also forecasts light to moderate showers for the north, northeast and northwest starting Tuesday evening, from a quickly moving frontal system approaching from Florida.

It said Atlantic coast marine conditions continue adverse, for which small craft should remain in port on higher than normal waves that could reach 7 feet

Onamet said small craft can operate near the coast and not venture out to sea along the Caribbean coast and Samaná bay.
