Police arrest man who allegedly paid to murder David Ortiz

Santo Domingo.- Local media on Fri. report the arrest of Victor Hugo Gómez who allegedly paid to murder former Major League Baseball star David Ortiz in Santo Domingo Este.

The attack occurred on June 9 in a bar in the Eastern Zone, where the authorities say the target was in fact, Sixto David Fernández, a friend of the player who was also in the bar.
