Pandemic in DR: 39,588 cases; 829 deaths; 20,059 recover

Santo Domingo.- Public Health Minister, Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas, on Wednesday said the cases of coronavirus in the Dominican Republic number 39,588, with 1,158 new positives recorded.

He said that the deaths rose to 829, with eight reported in one day.

The official said the number of people who’ve recovered from Covid-19 stood at 20,059.
