Tragic accident on the eastern highway

Santo Domingo.- A Spanish national passed away, and two other individuals were injured when the vehicle they were traveling in, a Jeep, skidded on the road while exiting this city towards Santo Domingo, near the Parador Fotografico.

The deceased is Dolores Vareira Pereyra, 84 years old, who succumbed during surgery at the Antonio Musa Hospital.

The injured are Manuel Pérez, aged 57, and Osvaldo Enrique Martínez, also 57, both residents of Santo Domingo. They were all transported to the emergency room of the Antonio Musa Hospital. An autopsy was conducted on Vareira Pereyra at the Regional Institute of Forensic Sciences, located within the Antonio Musa Hospital in San Pedro de Macorís.
