NHC monitors disturbance in Central Atlantic headed toward the Caribbean
Santo Domingo.- The National Hurricane Center (NHC) in Miami is tracking an atmospheric disturbance in the central Atlantic, which could develop into a tropical depression or storm in the coming days. Meteorologist Jean Suriel reports that the system is currently moving westward with a shift toward the west-southwest.
The disturbance is expected to approach the Lesser Antilles by Thursday and could be near eastern Puerto Rico by Friday. Residents in potentially affected areas are urged to stay updated with NHC reports and take necessary precautions.
