“Cold weather is here!” Here’s the date for when cooler temperatures will begin to be felt

Weather analyst Jean Suriel reported this Friday that the first frontal system, driven by a low-pressure system in the Atlantic, is arriving in the Caribbean region before the date.

“This phenomenon is stationary over Cuba and the Bahamas, so it will not reach the Dominican Republic,” said the expert, while indicating, ‘The cold front season will begin in the first week of November and will mark the time for the arrival of cooler temperatures to the Dominican territory.’

He continued, “In the next 24 to 48 hours, the cold front will dissipate and a trough will establish itself to the north of the Caribbean region to extend the possibilities of rains until Wednesday or Thursday of next week.”

Suriel added that the coldest part of the system will remain in Florida, Bahamas, and Cuba while the front pushes warm air that will affect the country; therefore, the hot sensation will be maintained in a great part of the national territory.
