Santo Domingo.- President Luis Abinader shared a Christmas lunch with community members, neighborhood associations, and clubs from the National District on Friday as part of the government’s “Christmas of Change Continues” program. Held at the San Carlos Sports Club, the event allowed the president to reaffirm his commitment to improving the quality of life for Dominicans and to announce innovative plans for the coming year.
Abinader emphasized the government’s focus on addressing local issues in collaboration with city councils and other institutions, aiming to make a tangible difference in the lives of citizens in the National District and Greater Santo Domingo. He revealed plans to bring government services directly to neighborhoods, focusing not only on large infrastructure projects but also on smaller, community-driven initiatives.
The president also participated in the inauguration of the third Multiplaza Charles de Gaulle shopping center in Santo Domingo Este, a project by the Ramos Group. The RD$360 million investment will create over 430 jobs and features 32 commercial spaces, ample parking, and green areas.
