The parade will feature horses from the Cavalry Unit of the Armed Forces and various equestrian clubs from across the country. Starting at Independencia Park, the procession will travel through the streets of the Colonial City, showcasing the beauty and skill of the riders. The route includes Mariano Cesteros, Arzobispo Nouel, Padre Billini, Isabel La Católica, and more, concluding at Parque Independencia with a brief ceremony, including the national anthem performed by the Army Headquarters Music Band.
Speeches will be delivered by notable figures such as Wilson Gómez Ramírez, president of the Duartiano Institute, and representatives from the Dominican Paso Horse Association (ADOPASO) and the Higüeyano Paso Horse Association (ACPH). At the end of the event, several equestrian associations, including the General Kalil Haché Malkun Blood Cavalry Unit and the Villa Mella Horsemen’s Club, will be recognized.
The Duartiano Institute has extended a special invitation to all Dominican families to join in this celebration, which highlights the country’s history, culture, and equestrian tradition. The event is free and open to the public of all ages.
