Raquel Peña welcomes Colombian President Gustavo Petro during stopover in the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo.- Vice President Raquel Peña welcomed Colombian President Gustavo Petro, who arrived in the Dominican Republic at 3:00 PM on Wednesday during a stopover on his way to Haiti.
During their meeting, they discussed strengthening bilateral ties and expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Petro, accompanied by an official delegation, arrived at Las Américas International Airport and continued his journey to Haiti after a brief stay in the Dominican Republic.
