Santiago Mayor’s Office delivers first funds for 2025 Carnival

Santiago de los Caballeros.- The Santiago Mayor’s Office has distributed the first round of funding to federations and groups participating in the Santiago Carnival 2025, reinforcing its commitment to local culture. Mayor Ulises Rodríguez emphasized that the financial support will help participants create vibrant costumes and characters, essential for maintaining the festival’s splendor.

The event will focus on four key pillars: innovation, culture, internationality, and fun, aiming to enhance its impact locally and regionally. Scheduled from February 9 to March 2, the carnival will be held at Parque Central, offering improved logistics, security, and entertainment spaces.

With this initiative, the Santiago Mayor’s Office continues to support and promote the city’s rich traditions, ensuring the carnival remains a major cultural and economic driver for the province.
