Santiago Mayor’s Office denounces dog poisoning

The Mayor’s Office of Santiago denounced an alarming increase in cases of dog poisoning in Central Park.

When offering the information, Vice Mayor Mariana Moreno explained that in just ten days, between 12 and 13 poisoned dogs had been found, which generated great concern in the community.

“This comes on the heels of a successful adoption fair, where 90% of the rescued dogs were adopted. It is unacceptable that, after this achievement, poisoned dogs begin to appear daily.” He said that the last case was on Friday, but thanks to the quick intervention of his owner, the dog was saved.
