Alfredo Pacheco to attend 7th edition of “Dominicans in the Capitol”

Santo Domingo.- Alfredo Pacheco, President of the Dominican Chamber of Deputies, will lead a delegation of legislators at the seventh annual Dominicans on the Hill event in Washington, D.C. The gathering, hosted at the U.S. Capitol on February 11 and 12, celebrates the achievements of the Dominican community in the United States and is organized by Congressman Adriano Espaillat.

During the event, Pacheco will present the new Dominican Constitution, proclaimed on October 31, 2024. The delegation will also meet with Dominican-Americans who have excelled in education, business, technology, sports, media, and public service to discuss their contributions and address key concerns affecting the community.

The delegation includes members of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD), the People’s Force (FP), and the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), along with representatives from the Chamber of Deputies’ Permanent Commission on Foreign Relations.
