Fernando Abreu to represent Dominican Republic at CPAC 2025
Santo Domingo.- Fernando Abreu, president of Patria Libre, will attend CPAC 2025 in Washington, D.C., marking his second participation in the influential conservative political event. The gathering, which brings together figures from the international right, will feature U.S. President Donald Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, members of Trump’s new cabinet, and leaders such as Javier Milei, Jair Bolsonaro, Santiago Abascal, and others.
A press release emphasizes that Abreu’s presence signals a commitment to a patriotic, free-market agenda and stronger ties with the American right. This stance contrasts with Dominican sectors aligned with the outgoing Biden administration and its globalist and progressive policies.
Through CPAC 2025, Abreu and Patria Libre reinforce their position as key representatives of Dominican conservatism, advocating for economic freedom, border security, and traditional family values as pillars of national prosperity.
