Yeni Berenice Reynoso sworn in as Attorney General
Santo Domingo.- Yeni Berenice Reynoso was officially sworn in as the new Attorney General of the Dominican Republic on Monday in the Ambassadors’ Hall of the National Palace. According to Listín Diario, the ceremony, which appeared to be arranged at the last minute, took place shortly after members of the National Council of the Judiciary (CNM) held another session to select her team of deputy attorneys general.
Reynoso was unanimously appointed by the CNM last Friday, replacing Judge Miriam Germán Brito. Her nomination was put forth by President Luis Abinader, who led discussions with the CNM before the council approved her designation. The CNM remains in session to deliberate on the selection of seven deputy attorneys general proposed by the president.

She is strong. We can only hope her underlings will be as hounding as she is. The country needs a cleaning.
Next step is the courts.
