Santiago monorail to be completed this year

Santiago, DR.- Santiago Mayor Ulises Rodríguez confirmed that the city’s highly anticipated monorail will be completed this year, emphasizing that the project is in its final stages. He stated that the construction company overseeing the work has assured him of its timely completion, acknowledging the sacrifices required for such a transformative infrastructure project.

Rodríguez also highlighted the impact of the Santiago cable car, describing it as a valuable contribution from President Luis Abinader to the city. He noted that once integrated with the monorail, the cable car will operate at full capacity, significantly improving urban mobility in Santiago.
