Joshua Steven Riibe’s attorneys file Habeas Corpus petition

La Altagracia.- Joshua Steven Riibe’s attorneys have filed a habeas corpus petition seeking his release in connection with the investigation into the disappearance of Sudiksha Konanki. According to sources from Noticias SIN, a hearing for the petition is scheduled for Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.

Riibe is under investigation as the last known person to see Sudiksha Konanki before her disappearance at the RIU República Hotel in Punta Cana.

According to Riibe’s testimony, he and Konanki entered the ocean early in the morning, and she may have been swept away by the current. However, inconsistencies in his statements have raised concerns among investigators.
