Dominican Republic suspends judicial notifications in Haiti and Venezuela

Santo Domingo.- The Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX) has temporarily suspended judicial notification services in Haiti and Venezuela due to security concerns and diplomatic tensions. The measure aims to protect consular personnel and ensure the legality of procedures amid ongoing crises in both nations.
In Haiti, escalating violence and institutional collapse have disrupted consular operations, making it difficult to process judicial documents. MIREX continues to monitor the situation to determine future diplomatic actions. Meanwhile, the severance of diplomatic ties with Venezuela has led to the closure of consular offices, further suspending legal procedures.
The ministry has asked for public understanding and assured that efforts are underway to restore services when conditions allow. Citizens are encouraged to stay updated through official channels for further developments.
