Dominican Army deploys security operation in Hoyo de Friusa

La Altagracia.- The Dominican Army initiated a security operation this Wednesday in Hoyo de Friusa, La Altagracia, ahead of a march scheduled for Sunday, March 30, by the Ancient Dominican Order.

The demonstration seeks government intervention under the slogan “We demand transparency.” Organizers argue that Hoyo de Friusa has become a center of insecurity, crime, and violence, attributing the worsening situation to the increasing presence of undocumented Haitians in the area.
