Pelegrín Castillo denounces labor discrimination against Dominicans in border area

Santo Domingo.- Former Minister of Energy and Mines, Pelegrín Castillo, has publicly denounced that Dominicans are being denied employment at an official agricultural settlement in Puerto Escondido, near the border, despite their willingness and need for work.
Through his account on the social network X, Castillo claimed that both civilian and military authorities are supporting this alleged discriminatory practice. His statement has sparked concerns about labor rights and fair employment opportunities in the region.
In response to these allegations, authorities are expected to clarify the situation and take necessary measures to ensure equal job opportunities for all workers at the border.
