Trough will cause rain with thunderstorms

The incidence of a trough will cause showers with isolated thundershowers and possible wind gusts over San Cristóbal, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, San Juan, Elías Piña, and Santo Domingo, especially in the northern areas.

The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) also predicted that temperatures will remain hot, with a minimum of 21 °C and 23 °C and a maximum between 32 °C and 34 °C. The agency forecasts a high wind chill.

Maritime conditions

On the Caribbean Coast, Meteorology recommends operators of small and medium-sized vessels to navigate close to the coastal perimeter without venturing out to sea due to dangerous waves and abnormal winds.
