Stephen Junior Cherenfant appointed as Haiti’s new consul in Santiago

Santiago de los Caballeros.- The Haitian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has appointed Stephen Junior Cherenfant as the new consul at the Haitian consulate in Santiago de los Caballeros.

Cherenfant, who pursued part of his higher education in Santiago, brings valuable knowledge of the cultural and social dynamics of both Dominicans and Haitians in the Cibao region.

According to sources, the new consul is committed to strengthening consular services with more personal, efficient, and humane attention. His mission will focus on defending the dignity of Haitians, promoting unity, and fostering dialogue with local authorities to develop joint solutions to shared challenges.
