Sky High Airlines Embraer 190 makes emergency landing at AILA

An Embraer 190 from Sky High Airlines made an emergency landing at José Francisco Peña Gómez Las Américas International Airport (AILA) on Tuesday afternoon. Thankfully, all seven people on board were unharmed.

The aircraft, which was on a test flight rather than a regular commercial route, experienced a technical problem with its nose landing gear around 5:20 p.m.

Airport operations continued normally, with flights using the alternate runway 18‑36, Aerodom confirmed.

Aerodom added that this is its only official statement, and any further information will come from the relevant authorities.
