Authorities urge residents to avoid crossing rivers, streams, and creeks with high water levels in provinces under alert. Along the Caribbean coast, particularly from Cabo Beata (Pedernales) to Punta Salinas (BanÃ), operators of small and medium-sized boats are advised to remain in port due to strong winds and dangerous waves. The rest of the Caribbean coast may continue activities with caution.
