DR among countries with best prevention practices in investor-state disputes

Santo Domingo.– A delegation from the Industry and Commerce Ministry’s Trade Administration Agreements (Dicoex), led by its director Katrina Naut, participated in a series of activities to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Center for International Adjustments Derived from Investments (CIADI), an arbitral institution attached to the World Bank that facilitates the solution and settlement of disputes between investors and States.

In her intervention as a guest panelist, Dr. Naut referred to the Program for Disputes Prevention and Management in the Dominican Republic, which is coordinated by DICOEX and the Legal Adviser of the Executive Branch, which aims at strengthening national capacities on dispute prevention and defense involving the Dominican State.
