Rainieri: “All hotels are experiencing good occupancy”

Frank Rainieri, promoter of the Puntacana Group, said that hotel occupancy in the tourist destination of Punta Cana is currently excellent because it is above 75%.

“This week, we have 576 flights at the Punta Cana International Airport; in other words, thank God we are in a truly high and continuous season, all the hotels are experiencing good occupancy,” he added.

He explained that “we do not have a price war as in the past, we even have a problem of lack of personnel in almost all the hotels because with so many hotels opening, it is natural that they are offered more money and they leave, but we continue to train personnel, so for the Dominican Republic we are in a very important moment because we are in a tourist boom.”
