Arajet inaugurates new Punta Cana–Córdoba route

Córdoba.- Arajet inaugurated its new direct route between Punta Cana and Córdoba on Tuesday, December 2, marking its second destination in Argentina and strengthening its expansion across the Southern Cone. The service will operate five times per week, offering more efficient and convenient travel options for passengers.

The airline noted that the route opens at a moment of strong growth in travel between Argentina and the Dominican Republic. In the first half of 2025, Argentine arrivals increased by 89.5% compared to the same period in 2024, making Argentina the country’s third-largest source of visitors and potentially reaching 450,000 tourists in 2025.

Arajet highlighted that expanding to Córdoba responds to rising demand for direct Caribbean connections. The new route complements its Buenos Aires service and broadens access to the airline’s regional network from the Dominican Republic.
