Initial ballot boxes arrive in Madrid

Madrid.- The initial three ballot boxes from Madrid’s 53 polling stations started arriving at the Data Dissemination Center of Constituency 3 (Europe).

These initial ballot boxes originated from the La Latina, Alcobendas, and Horteza sectors and were delivered at 9:15 PM Madrid time. In Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic, these deliveries were expected to occur after 3:00 PM local time.

In a departure from previous years’ practices of directly releasing results, this time the results will be transmitted to Santo Domingo so that the Central Electoral Board (JCE) can officially announce them.
