President Luis Abinader visits Panama for inauguration of José Raúl Mulino

Panama.- On Sunday, President Luis Abinader, arrived in Panama to attend the inauguration ceremonies of the newly elected Panamanian president, José Raúl Mulino, scheduled for this Monday.

The Dominican head of state is accompanied by his wife, Raquel Arbaje; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez; and the ambassador and director of State Ceremonies and Protocol, Francisco Cantizano.

Monday morning will see Abinader in a bilateral meeting with the president-elect of Panama, José Raúl Mulino. Later in the afternoon, he will participate in the investiture session.

José Raúl Mulino, 65, is set to take office for the 2024-2029 term after winning the May 5 elections with 34.23% of the vote.

Upon completing his schedule in Panama, President Abinader and his delegation will return to the Dominican Republic on Today.
