Emir of Qatar expresses interest in investing in the Dominican Republic

Qatar.- During a bilateral meeting in Qatar, Emir Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani expressed his country’s interest in investing in the Dominican Republic, highlighting its status as Latin America’s fastest-growing economy. President Luis Abinader led the meeting with his ministerial team to discuss business, commercial, and investment opportunities, including the potential for a direct Qatar Airways flight to the Dominican Republic.

Following the meeting, the Emir invited President Abinader to a private discussion to explore specific investment areas. Dominican officials present included Finance Minister Jochy Vicente, Energy Minister Joel Santos, and ProDominicana Director Biviana Ribeiro. The President’s visit to Qatar, which concluded on Monday, follows his participation in the Doha World Forum. He will return to Santo Domingo on Tuesday.

That will not lead to anything good. This is how their religious agenda is pushed. Before you know it, there will be mosques popping up.

Islamic communities are welcomed in DR just like any other religious groups. Not sure why this would be a problem..
