Congressman Adriano Espaillat criticizes Trump’s executive orders

New York.- Congressman Adriano Espaillat, representing New York’s 13th District, expressed concern over a series of executive orders signed by Donald Trump within 24 hours, warning that they threaten America’s core values.

Espaillat highlighted nearly 30 executive actions, including the appointment of Trump allies to key government roles, the reversal of national security measures, the promotion of oil drilling in Alaska, the elimination of birthright citizenship, the cancellation of legal immigration appointments, and pardons for 1,500 individuals linked to what he termed the “first insurrection in U.S. history.”

Calling for the protection of constitutional principles, Espaillat urged Americans to defend the nation’s democratic values. His comments come as Trump’s policies spark widespread debate following his return to the White House.
