Hugo Chavez, an endearing and supportive friend: Medina

Santo Domingo. - Dominican Republic president Danilo Medina on Tuesday expressed regret over the death of Venezuela leader Hugo Chavez, whom he called a "dear and supportive friend of our country."

"We share the pain of the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. May Chavez rest in peace," twitted the Dominican Head of State.
